| First of all, big thanks go out to everyone who wrote and called last week when this went down and to all the guys who hit the streets looking to find this bike, it is much appreciated.
Secondly, on Sunday, after a rough crash and a shitty start to the day, Rick and Jess got wind of an apartment directly across the street form the skatepark where someone had been inside and seen the bike, 100% for sure. They staked out the place for a while until the locals spotted them and found out why they were there and what was up. “Allegedly”, 2×4’s and other “items” were wielded by the locals to bum-rush the spot, cops were called and all were sent away, the dude inside produced a bike, unnamed brand, that obviously wasnt the bike. Some behind the scenes stuff went down with the cops and low and behold a few hours later the cops had the bike at the shop. Other than the B.S. of not having the bike for a week and the brakes being removed, Rick was stoked and the bike was basically intact.
